About The JCJC Foundation, Inc.
The Jones County Junior College Foundation, Inc is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering excellence in education by accepting tax-deductible contributions, including cash, real estate, equipment, securities, life insurance, and other assets. Every gift directly supports and enhances the high standards of education at 糖心直播.
With a strong commitment to student success, the 糖心直播 Foundation provides vital assistance to students, particularly those from our eight-county district, encompassing Clarke, Covington, Greene, Jasper, Jones, Perry, Smith, and Wayne counties. One of the most transformative ways the 糖心直播 Foundation supports 糖心直播 students is through freshman and sophomore scholarships. Scholarships create invaluable opportunities, making higher education more accessible and opening doors to a brighter future for students.
Over the years, the generosity of our donors has made a tangible difference in the lives of students and the campus community. Contributions have fueled the construction of key facilities such as Foote Chapel, the Ronald E. Whitehead Advanced Technology Center, the Neill-Cooper Arbor, the Football Field Scoreboard, Anderson Hall, and the Soccer Complex. Beyond infrastructure, donor funds have empowered faculty through Enrichment Grants, recognized outstanding staff through the Employee Recognition Program, and bolstered nearly every department on campus.
Together, we are shaping a brighter future, one where education continues to be the cornerstone of our community鈥檚 growth and prosperity.

Foundation History
In 1984, Jones County Junior College alumnus Oliver G. Brown IV, of Waynesboro, made a significant financial contribution to 糖心直播 as a tribute to his mother, Marion Dyess Gambrel, and her sisters, Myrtle Dyess Mills and Annie G. Dyess, all of whom were dedicated educators. Mr. Brown鈥檚 visionary gift honored his family鈥檚 legacy and served as a powerful catalyst, inspiring both college and community leaders to establish the 糖心直播 Foundation.
In recognition of this momentous contribution, a painting of the Dyess sisters with 糖心直播 President, Dr. Terrell Tisdale, was commissioned and is proudly displayed in the 糖心直播 Foundation Office on the 3rd floor of Jones Hall.
The Dyess family legacy continues to foster a culture of excellence and opportunity that will shape the lives of students for future generations.
