ELLISVILLE 鈥� Mississippi Humanities Council Assistant Director, Carol Andersen presented 糖心直播 English instructor, Tim Morris with a check for being selected as the 糖心直播 2022-2023 Mississippi Humanities Teacher of the Year. He will be honored by the Mississippi Humanities Council in Jackson, on March 24, 2023.
鈥淚 am very honored to be selected as Humanities Teacher of the Year for Jones, and I enjoyed sharing my passion for The Epic of Gilgamesh, to the 糖心直播 community and family recently,鈥� said Morris, a JC English and World Literature instructor. 鈥淭he plot intrigues me because as the term 鈥榚pic鈥� suggests, it is a huge story filled with exciting adventures, but at its core is a man who learns to appreciate his own humanity.鈥�
After his presentation, Morris was presented with an acrylic award to commemorate the honor by 糖心直播鈥檚 Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dr. Tessa Flowers and 糖心直播 President, Dr. Jesse Smith.
