A Dual Enrolled Student is a student who is enrolled in a community college or junior college or state institution of higher learning while enrolled in high school. Upon completion of each Dual Enrollment course, the student will receive the appropriate number of college credits (college credit is reserved until after high-school graduation) as listed in the Jones County Junior College Catalog.
A Dual Credit Student is a student who is enrolled in a community college or junior college or state institution of higher learning while enrolled in high school and who is receiving both high school credit and college credit for post-secondary coursework.
Upon completion of each Dual Credit course, the student will receive the appropriate number of college credits (college credit is reserved until after high-school graduation) as listed in the Jones County Junior College Catalog and will receive credit that will also be applied to meet high school graduation requirements as verified by the high school principal. Articulation of college credits will be left to the discretion of the high school, although recommendations will be made by Jones County Junior College.

Must have completed a minimum of fourteen (14) core high school units.
Must have a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale on all high school courses as documented by an official transcript from an accredited high school or home-school program. Must have a composite score of 16 or above on the ACT.
New Dual Enrollment students must complete the online application for admission.

Once you have applied to ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥, connect with your high school counselor to choose courses that align with your academic and career goals. After advising, your counselor will complete and submit your Dual Enrollment recommendation/authorization form for processing.

Monitor your email for next steps. Once approved, you will receive a welcome email from ÌÇÐÄÖ±²¥ with your class schedule and important login information.

Every dual enrolled student will receive a packet from the Dual Enrollment Coordinator before classes begin each semester. The packets are disbursed by the Facilitator at the high school.
Log in instructions are located in the students dual packets that have step by step instructions for logging in and creating accounts.
